What About MEL Revisons

Update Cycles

The FAA MMELs are updated from time-to-time and new MMELs are posted at
www.opspecs.com. The cycle is from 3-5 years for most GA aircraft and sometimes several times a year on newer aircraft. If the update is a numbered change, say from revision 3 to revision 4, then you must update the MEL. If it is a lettered changed, say from revision 3a to 3b, then you only have to update your MEL if the changes affect your specific MEL.

Update Costs and Subscriptions

We do not have an MEL update subscription charge, as one of the others does have, is based on the fact that you may not want the updates or the change cycles are far enough apart as not make a subscription economical.

Order Updates Online at the eStore

You order an MEL update online at Product M050 that depends on your aircraft size group. The details for the aircraft and charges are contained therein.
